THE STRATEGY AND THE TACTICS

THE STRATEGY AND THE TACTICS

There are several individual and team tactical skills to play football effectively. In theory, football is a simple game, as illustrated by Kevin Keegan famous assertion that "to win a game you only need to score more goals than the opposite." However, well-organized and prepared teams are often capable of beating teams with supposedly more skilled players. Football tactics differ from those of many other sports because football has a high degree of continuous action (ie, is not divided into isolated games, as in football, or dots, as in tennis).

The tactics are all attack and defense actions performed by players from one team to surprise and combat (offensive principles) or counteract and neutralize (defensive principles) opponents during the game with the ball in play. These principles must be balanced by a good organization of the game.

The organization of the game is the distribution of tasks for each player. A good occupation of the field and proper allocation of tasks according to the qualities of each team member.

By assigning the initial positions of the players and defining their main and supplementary necessary functions in football today, the organization of the game ensure increased team cohesion, which will impact on greater efficiency and safety.

The organization of the game depends first game system you use. A gaming system is the place that a player chooses or is imposed on the ground, ie, is the distribution of a team on the field once defined starting position players.

Secondly, the organization of the game will depend on the offensive and defensive moves, such movements are divided into offensive and defensive principles that serve to organize and appoint a majority of the actions taking place in football.

Thus the offensive principles refer to the actions developed by a team when in possession.
