The orientated control

The orientated control

The orientated control is a very important technical  skill. It is a skill more specific than the control, About that we speak in a previous post.

This skill is slightly more complex, for this motive for training it in low categories of football, we must have a previous wide enough base.

Nevertheless, this skill is very useful and beneficial, since if the player is capable of realizing correctly this skill or aspect of the game, it will be able to have an important advantage opposite to the adeversary, already to give a pass, to look for one I throb to desk, or simply to have more time to think and to take better decisions.

To train this skill in children, we will do it of progressive form, with more complex easy exercises when a wide base is acquired, always combining with other exercises or with shots to desk to prevent the players from getting bored.

Trainning 1: Individually, every player with a ball. It throws it to the air or for the soil and with an alone touch, according to the surface of contact indicated by the trainer, must control the ball and continue driving for the space.

Trainning 2: The players place in pairs. There is a player A who has the ball and his companion B places next to a cone to approximately 8 meters of distance. The player A spends the ball towards B the one who must control and orientate it to overcome the cone that has to the side it. Then he sends towards To and the exercise repeats itself.

  1. Gran post! Muy importante la correcta ejecución del control orientado y buena habilidad para el entrenamiento. Es una habilidad básica para posteriores acciones ofensivas. Destacar la importancia de defender mediante la posesion del balon!
