FOOTBALL GAME SYSTEMS (11): 1-4-2-3-1

After analyzing the game systems in football 8, we are going to do an analysis of the most used in football 11 during the baseline systems.

The first is the 1-4-2-3-1, which in turn is the most used. Its origin is in the 1-4-1-4-1. This adaptation aims to have a greater defensive balance to want to look over the opposing goal.


Characteristics:

The usual composition is one goalkeeper, four defenders, 2 defensive midfielders, three offensive midfielders and one forward.

- The defenders formed by 2 side with or without offensive route, depending on their physical and technical skills and two strong central.
- The midfield with two lines. The first with 2 defensive midfielders, responsible for give the defensive balance arrival the opponent's box equipment. They must also be able to create game.

Advantages:

- Balanced system with good defensive position.
- Complicating the rival game between lines.
- Ability to counterattack with very high pressure.

Disadvantages:

- Empty spaces in band without defensive balance.
- Risk from blocking two.
- Too much ground to defend the defensive midfielders if not helped.
