THE COERVER METHODE

In a previous article, we mentioned a book by Juan Carlos Valeron on methodology for fubol base, but today we want to talk about another great method, although described otherwise than Valeron, it is a highly innovative and effective method.        The method was created by a technician from the 70s, named Will Coerver, which introduced a system of education which proposed that "the technique can be learned, not just innate." To develop this idea created a working model with a pyramidal organizational structure and six cumulative levels that progress from a lower level to a higher one requires mastering the rules of the previous levels. The six levels are, from the bottom up: the relationship with the ball, the reception and execution of passes, one on one, speed, completion and, finally, the collective attack.

Normally working with players aged 6 to 14 years. His premise was that "the behavior of the team always depends on individual conditions of their players."

Coerver design 6 levels have to learn each player.

- Relationship with the ball- Reception / Execution passes- 1 on 1- Speed- Definition- Collective Attack

Below is a video on the method Coerver

The Coverage in Football

The Coverage in Football

The coverage is a technical defensive action that many authors define of the following way: "To be in situation to help a companion who can be exceeded by the adversary "(Varela, J. 2011).

The coverage takes place, when the player who realizes it is behind his companion, whom they are going to exceed, once it is exceeded, the player realizes the coverage doing an entry to the player rival or simply it supports a defensive passive position waiting for the help of another companion.

The coverage is a defensive action, but not only it is realized by the defenders, all the players have to to be able to apply it, since it is a necessary action to recover the ball.

To realize a good coverage qualities are needed as the good placement in the field, good vision of game, intuition, speed and to give many attention to the development of the game.

This technical skill is very easy to train, simultaneously that is very necessary, since in the matches it is necessary in many moments. It is possible to train of analytical form first, moving her then to a more global training. It is important that one trains the children from small in order that they acquire defensive discipline, effort and defensive, very important concepts for his future.

METHODOLOGY OF TACTIC

In the following pdf we have methodological information on the tactics for soccer base.We find the most important aspects of this area, how to work and apply to school-age teams.

Is not only important the content presented but also the way to do it, so that children acquire the widest possible knowledge and enjoy doing

Sport and Studies

Sport in general contributes to the integral education of the person, not just physical, it is evident also gives values, or reinforces, much needed in the formation of people: physical underwriting year proactivity, culture effort, work planning, commitment and a group activity, teamwork, competition, with himself and with others, respect for the norms and rules, coexistence with success and failure, highlight some.

More and more scientific studies indicate that sport helps improve in other areas of our usual activity, demonstrating that young athletes get better grades or better organized. "Teenagers doing more physical exercise at school get better grades and have better cognitive performance, which implies aspects such as verbal and non-verbal ability, abstract reasoning, spatial ability, verbal reasoning and numeracy" according europapress.

But however, if we want this improvements, we should bring a correctly training and trainers. what its your opinion about his?.

In the proximetly article we will write about the importance of the coach with the players.

THE IMPORTANCE OF THE COACH IN HIS PLAYERS

As named in the old post, sport has great benefits for young, that if the coach guides them correctly.
So what is the importance of the coach in the development of children ?. The coach is undoubtedly the benchmark for their athletes, to become a very important part in their development and education.

This has the task of creating a healthy environment, coopeación, friendship and a number of very important values like friendship, hard work and never give up.

Is not only important technical and tactical part if this aspect is not working, therefore they are expecting ?.

THE COACH IS NOT ONLY A COACH, IF NOT OUR FRIEND

The Load or Charge in Football

The Load or Charge in Football

The load or charge in football it is a physical and technical action that takes place on having entered physical contact with the top part of the trunk, pushing shoulder with shoulder to the player adversary, in the dispute of the ball, in order to separate it or to unbalance it in due form, to recover the ball or to continue preserving it. (Benarroch Arcos, G. 2011).

It is an action that it is possible to realize so much in attack, since in defense, since the player can realize it so much holder of the ball to preserve his possession as the player not holder of the ball to recover it (Benarroch Arcos, G. 2011).

The only action that is allowed in football is the legal load, since the illegal load, it forces ... they are sanctioned by lack.

LEGAL LOAD: It is the one that is used of correct form on an adversary, shoulder against shoulder, one or both feet in the soil, without dangerousness, the ball has to be distantly of being played and without using arms or elbows. This one contact is allowed and it will not be sanctioned (Benarroch Arcos, G. 2011).

The training of the load in children, as other defensive skills, needs a previous analytical work, for a later application to the global area. In the load the quality that intervenes principally is the force, both of top train and of low train.

It is not necessary to be employed of specific form this skill at children, but it is suitable that they know her for his later development, when they are older and develop more his force. It is an important skill for the short children, but with a low strong train, since it can help them very much.

Tackling in Football

Tackling in Football

Entry to evenness of the soil that is realized by a leg ahead of other one to steal the ball from the opponent, and that has risk of admonition if it is not realized cleanly.

In spanish, we said "Entrada" or "Segada" because it is a question of an entry to evenness of soil, imitating to a reaper when sega the lawn.

It is a technical defensive action, which is in use for taking the possession from the rival of an aggressive way or for cutting a play of danger. Normally it is realized by the defenders though in the current football all the players must be capable of realizing this action.

According to the position from which the slide is realized, the tackle can be a wings or from behind. If it is realized directly it finishes inevitably in a dangerous action ("it" "irons" or "plantillazo"),

The player who fulfils the tackling gives a long step, stimulates a leg towards the ball to take the possession from the rival, the player who fulfils the tackling stretches the arm to rest and slides on the hip. (Peitersen, B. 2003).

On having done a tackling the body must work as a rigid unit, which is obtained by means of a good isometric force in the big muscular groups of the top part of the body. Also it is necessary to to have good speed, coordination of movements, intuition and vision of game. (Bangsbo, J. 2002).

This action is not habitual to see her in children, since they are in the habit of being afraid on having realized it, but it is necessary that they can carry out this action, since it is a technical defensive very important aspect, which demonstrates valor and force.

To train this skill, first it is necessary to train aspects of analytical form as the force, flexibility and the speed, for then to take the training to more global aspects with exercises of one against one, possessions with shots to desk and matches.

Analytical or globalized exercises?

It is true that the two types of exercises are beneficial, but which one is more correct methodologically and performance ?.

The works analytically physical capabilities specifically, but does not use just shot, and that's a problem in a sport in which you depend on this. We therefore believe that the methodology on which ball is used in all exercises is much better and transfer the match.

While it is true that need further analytical work should not be done widely in base football and is something that is done in many clubs.

what is your opinion on this issue?

THE LOSS OF TALENT IN FOOTBALL

Undoubtedly, the loss of talent is a big problem in all our sports, and today esque still have a system that allows us to make a correct choice, choosing the players or athletes on our team.

Perhaps the problem is the lack of looking at the projection of our team into the future and think only in the present of our team, maybe the problem is the perspective we have on the football and social pressure that is done on the coaches and managers .

It is true that today this seems to be changing in some countries, and is something that can be observed with great results are obtained in all sports.

But it is possible to improve the selection criteria of talent even more?

What is your opinion about this reality?

The Interception

The Interception

The interception is a defensive action. In Spanish we say: Interceptación.

Is considered to be a technical skill basic defensive normally realized by defensive players, though every player of football has to to be able to be unrolled correctly realizing this action.

It is the technical action individual defensive by means of which we catch the ball before it is received by the adversary (when the ball is thrown, struck or touched by a teamate of this one), modifying or interrupting the path of the ball avoiding or not the end chased by the launcher (Benarroch Arcos, G. 2011).

There is some possibilities:

1-  The path of the ball is modified with any part of the body but without foreseeing if he avoids or not the end looked by the attacking. Since it can continue in possession of the ball.

2- The path of the ball is equally modified, but the consequences can be:

2.1- It modifies his path without foreseeing the second play (it is the classic detour).
2.2- The path is modified proving of the same second action, pass, shot...

To realize a good interception a few qualities are needed as valor, capacity of decision, speed of reaction, intuition, conviction, attention...

It is important to train the technical defensive skills so much as the offensives from low categories. In these categories it is important that all the players, already be attacking or defending realize all the exercises, in order that thus they acquire a wide technical base and could specialize years after in other stages that are not of learning.

Now, we leave a very practical exercise you to train this skill:

- Simulate the interception of balls to the ball with opposition.

The defensive players were placing lightly behind and next to the offensive players. To the sound of the whistle or the voice of control of the trainer both players will go out towards the cone that will be located opposite to them. The defensive player will have to come first that his rival to the aim.

FOOTBALL GAME SYSTEMS (8): 1-2-3-2

FOOTBALL GAME SYSTEMS (8): 1-2-3-2

After analyzing the 1-3-3-1 and the 1-3-2-2 systems, continue with the next game system. The 1-2-3-2. It is a system that provides offensive and defensive variants, but his priority is the attack. Is the attack system in this categories par excellence.

Characteristics:

This is a system formed by four lines of pressure. The first line form the goalkeeper. The second line is constituted by two defenders. Ahead of them, form a line of 3 midfielders, defensive moments in the two media side would be delayed to close the wings. In attack will seek progressions by your side (by conduction or pass). Finally fourth pressure line consists of 2 front, they will seek in the bands passes peers. In defensive situation will be delayed to close bands midline, which would become the arrangement 4-1-2.

- Sides: Players mainline and with continuous additions to the attack. In this sistems midfielders (indoors in attack and sides in defensive zone)
- Centrals: Player to order the team, strong, imposing and well out of the ball.
- Midfielder: Player that gives balance to the team with great technical quality.
- Forward: There may be several types of front: Strong and play well from behind, skillful and good vision and fast, depending on the type of player the coach will place them well together or else separate or only one front and one in behind.

Advantages:

- You can create numerical superiority with the additions of the side and falls to throw as much as half front are what stands out in this system.
- High pressure in attack.
- Good system when pressing block after retreat into their own field.

Disadvantages:

- Outnumbered in counterattacks.
- Less defensive security if the opposing team used many players in attack.

FOOTBALL GAME SYSTEMS (8): 1-3-2-2

FOOTBALL GAME SYSTEMS (8): 1-3-2-2

After analyzing the 1-3-3-1, continue with the next game system. The 1-3-2-2. It is a system that provides offensive and defensive variants, so what is very useful in these categories.

Characteristics:

This is a system that gives a lot of tactical variety during games besides being a fairly balanced and constant system variants game system. The 1st line of defense consists of a goalkeeper, 2nd line consists of two lateral (one right-handed and left-handed) in addition to a central space thereby players defense is balanced. In the 3rd line is distributed by two midfielders. In this area there are two ways to place the players: rather more defensive or offensive. When we talk about defensive positioning players were positioned horizontally, may be one more defensive and one offensive or cut more but the two defensive players cut. When we talk about the position of the most offensive means were positioned vertically (one front and one rear), with this you get the team more offensive. Finally the 4th line consists of 2 front, which can be a tall player and a fast so they can complement between them.

This system allows the sides are mainline and surprise coming from the second line, because this will produce many variants within a party based side are those who believe that numerical superiority in attack. In the list of players f8 football transfer 11 lateral, central, media centers and front are formed. Regarding the game system to transfer 1.3.2.2 football 11 would be as follows (1.4.4.2 / 1.5.3.2).

- Sides: Players mainline and with continuous additions to the attack.
- Central: Player to order the team, strong, imposing and well out of the ball.
- Midfielders: There may be defensive or offensive players cut. And defense should be to give balance to the team and is the ball-winner. Moreover offensive should be very technical quality, great vision, have much discretion in the game besides knowing the final pass. Between the two should give the balance on offense and defense.

- Great defensive security if we stand in our field.
- Good system when pressing block after retreat into their own field.

Disadvantages:

- No occupies the field proportionally with the number of team players in all lines.
- Less defensive security if the opposing team used many players in midfield using sides.

FOOTBALL GAME SYSTEMS (8) : 1-3-3-1

FOOTBALL GAME SYSTEMS (8) : 1-3-3-1

In the formative football, the number of players fits because the field is smaller, only 8 players can play. For this reason the game systems in these categories are different. We found very different game systems because the physical differences between kids are huge.

There are three game systems in these categories, which are the most used by coaches. They differ by having different game objectives. Some seek greater control of the game, while others aim to defend and run fast counterattack.

The first game system that will analyze is the 1-3-3-1. It is a system of very defensive game where the goal is to have two lines of players close.

Characteristics:

This is a very balanced system in all lines. It consists of 3 lines: one lª defensive line in which are located 2 side and a central space thereby players defense is more balanced. In the 2nd line is the mean that follows the same script as the defensive zone that is with 2 indoor and half organizing center. In the 3rd line is to attackers is constituted by a front. This system allows lateral believe in doing splits numerical superiority to the inner side, this makes the time when you take the leap to 11 football transfer will be minimal change if the model is still playing. 1.3.3.1 In this system were formed lateral, central, media centers, indoor and forwards. Perhaps of all systems of eight football game are the best transfer then play 11 football (system 1.4.2.3.1).

- Sides: Players mainline and with continuous additions to the attack.
- Central: Player to order the team, strong, imposing and well out of the ball.
- Midfielder: Player that gives balance to the team with great technical quality.
- Indoors: Fast, clever, 1cv1, sassy and good movements uncheck support and rupture and continuous changes of position between the lines player.
- Forward: Player who plays well back and create free for indoor or occupy the lateral spaces.

Advantages:

- This system is perhaps best used for the transfer then football-11.
- Occupy the pitch proportionally with the number of team players in all lines.
- Great defensive security if we stand in our field.
- Good system when pressing block after withdrawal in the defensive half.

Disadvantages:

- Perhaps not the most ideal for kick ball out of the keeper system.
- Difficulty face a team that plays with 2/2 centers when facing a team with a system 1.2.4.1 Players can create more danger you are entering from the second line.

The Dribble or Dribling

The Dribble

The dribble or dribling is a technical skill essential and basic offensive in the football. In spanish we said: El Regate.

On the other hand, it is considered, without telling the goal, one of the skills that more importance has in the football, a technical very attractive skill, which hooks the followers and does that the clubs of football pay money to register the players who better realize this activity.

The football player to elude, to overflow or to cheat the rival, does the use of this technical resource.

The football player, using his body realizes some technical peculiar gestures and movements with the ball to be deceptive and to disorient the rival and of this form to be progressing towards the desk of the rival (Pozo Mendez, J. 2008).

The dribling is innate and in most cases it is acquired across the constant practice. There is a variety of movements and technical gestures to include it in our personal digest and of this form to practise it and put it into practice in the parties (Pozo Mendez, J. 2008).

Though it is an innate skill, it is possible to train. It is more, it is necessary to train this skill from the low categories, since it is in these ages where more concepts can be acquired and that with the progression of the training they will be able to improve and to carry out in the later years.

To improve this skill is important to follow a progression, first of all, movements can be realized without ball, movements with ball, but free way, movements with ball with passive opposition of an adversary and finally against an adversary or in real situations of game.

It is important to follow this progression to prevent them to the children that it does not go out for them, from feeling frustrated and could manage to lose the illusion and the passion.

I`m a sportman since I have 5 year, and I have a lot of experiences in my sport live. I would like to share with you my knowledge in this area.

Tips to encourage children

Today, many children are away from the sport due to a number of factors that we believe very influential. In the previous article we talked about the negative influence of parents trying to be coaches and is a reality that parents exert much influence on the physical development of their children. In this post we want to give a few tips to encourage sport and enjoyment in this.
Too much pressure
Children like to play with other kids and have fun but many sports teams and even schools have taken this idea because currently the pressure to win has replaced the "fun" and if we add the fact parents living through the successes of children, weight can already be more than overwhelming.

   Bad reviews

You have done everything possible and you have worked but have not won and is what many coaches and even your parents only see. This can be harmful even for the team's star player. After each game, you must find something to be proud of but all these negative reviews are not an incentive to continue giving 100%.

Tiredness

The workouts can be long and difficult, especially after a defeat against another team. Children may think they are just running around the training track but this can be harmful to your body as growth slows and can be dangerous.

 Exhaustion

When you come to suffer the previous three, the arrival of this is inevitable since no fills practicing sport and can not find anything positive in practice, you only see the negative side and the pressure of practice.

As change:

Words of encouragement
Children and self pressed enough to push them over. We relieve that anxiety by telling them that they are doing very well and especially remind them they are there to have fun.

 Positive Reviews

Support your child whether lost as if he wins. Encourage them and always find something positive to say about the game they are doing.

Practice makes best

Encourage your child to practice but talk to the coach if you see that it is overtaking. Also make sure you are eating well and resting enough to improve.Promotes leisureMany children play sports in school and later in the summer. This is fine but might please only wants to have free time after school is closed.Sports are good for physical activity and help to teamwork. Invite practice without forcing to do.

The Feint

The Feint

In spanish we said: La Finta. The feint is a mechanism of deception that has as aim that the adversary thinks that we are going to do something that is not our real intention.

The feint is a fundamental element in offensive actions, therefore it turns into a very important action at the moment of adversaries overflow or to gain advantage with regard to one o more.

The accomplishment of good feints has narrow relation with the agility of movements and with the vision of game. The feint is a basic complement of the football player technically endowed, and great good more in the current football in the one that is very difficult to find a meter of free space with what any small deception can facilitate an advantage to us very to bearing in mind.

To realize this skill is important to have a wide technical base, simultaneously that has to have a great speed in the movements and a great precision on having realized them.

To train this skill in low categories it is necessary to to train in a progressive way and having patience great on the part of the trainer, since there will be players for whom it goes out in a natural way and others for which it costs them more since it is a quality difficult to learn, but very importantly since since it has been said it will allow us to obtain advantage against our adversaries. Very importantly in situations of one against one.

There are many differents kinds of feints:

-Feint for a driblle, is to say, with a movement of the body, even of the eyes, the adversary is unbalanced towards the side that is wished, to overcome him for the opposite side.
- Feint to facilitate that a teamate receives a ball, with a gesture or movement there is facilitated that a teamate receives the ball in better position.
- Feint before receiving the ball with the aim to be deceptive to the scoreboard and to be done by the ball in a profitable position.

THE IMPORTANCE OF THE PARENTS IN FOOTBALL EDUCATION

It is quite common to find in the soccer fields, parents with the following characteristics: not usually miss any party, sometimes swallows training, making technical notes and statistics, videotaped the key parties, gives orders (his son first eventually the rest) lives the game with such intensity that does not lose detail.

The problem is these parents think that their children are rough diamonds and stars. Do not allow any fault in sports education of your child, your child does everything well (almost always), and peers are worse than him, go bad or worse, the club is a disaster of organization ... there is always something ,. to complain about. Your child their age, maturity, ignorance, ... suffers from this zeal, misunderstood paternal affection and protection.         It is very difficult for a child with a father and coach, progressing properly, chances are that this child over, or hating football or causing you hate him.

It is true that the described case is extreme, but in most any of these characteristics are manifested. True Parents is one that nevertheless accompany them transport and travel, keeps a low profile support, encourage your child and the group of elegant and dignified form of praise, do not create unnecessary pressure, but give motivation and security, in short, who love the sport of their children
!!CHAMPIONS ARE CREATED WITH HUMILITY AND SUPPORT!!

The orientated control

The orientated control

The orientated control is a very important technical  skill. It is a skill more specific than the control, About that we speak in a previous post.

This skill is slightly more complex, for this motive for training it in low categories of football, we must have a previous wide enough base.

Nevertheless, this skill is very useful and beneficial, since if the player is capable of realizing correctly this skill or aspect of the game, it will be able to have an important advantage opposite to the adeversary, already to give a pass, to look for one I throb to desk, or simply to have more time to think and to take better decisions.

To train this skill in children, we will do it of progressive form, with more complex easy exercises when a wide base is acquired, always combining with other exercises or with shots to desk to prevent the players from getting bored.

Trainning 1: Individually, every player with a ball. It throws it to the air or for the soil and with an alone touch, according to the surface of contact indicated by the trainer, must control the ball and continue driving for the space.

Trainning 2: The players place in pairs. There is a player A who has the ball and his companion B places next to a cone to approximately 8 meters of distance. The player A spends the ball towards B the one who must control and orientate it to overcome the cone that has to the side it. Then he sends towards To and the exercise repeats itself.

The error of the specialization

One of the most common mistakes we often make, is to make an early specialization, which drastically reduces the likelihood that the athlete develops its powers by 100% or the child or athlete, find his position more correct.

Coaches should focus on the development of children and enjoy, however in many cases only we focus on winning and winning, and make the child to play in one position or performing tasks that force you to develop certain skills.

Train and play to develop long term is better realize short-term.

The Header or Head Kick

The Header or Head Kick

The Header or Head Kick needs a coordination of movements that it begins in the legs and finishes in the neck. But a good auction is not conceived without a movement of unmark before the jump.

The auction always must be done down, looking for the angles most complicated for the archer. All these premises turn her into one of the most difficult actions of the football. The action consists of 4 phases, Preparation Projection To blend and Recovery.

This action performs great importance in the football, since to part of the feet it is with the part of the body with which major force can stamp the football players on the ball. It is very important because It is a part of the body with which more goals are scored, after the feet, of course.

For that reason It is important that is trained in a regular way, since the football players are children and they learn to control the force of the header.

Normally the children are in the habit of having difficulties with Header or trhob of head, often for the fear that they have to use the head.

For this motive, we have to have specially take care in the education of this action. We must follow a slow but constant progression in the education of the action, to obtain a few ideal results and that thus the children should not be afraid of realizing the action, it is more they must enjoy on having realized it, since it is an important part of the sport, which will bring benefits.

For the learning of this action in low categories it is important to realize a previous work, if it can be in pairs.
It is to say, the accomplishment of an analytical work before, later to apply it to a global work or to apply it to real situations of game. The obtaining of a wide base of knowledge or of technical acquired skills will allow us to recover the action realizing a correct and effective gesture, avoiding this way possible injuries
