Technical actions in football base: The Pass and Control

Technical actions in football base: The Pass and Control

The pass is the technical action par excellence in football, this action can perform all other actions, which is said to be the fundamental technical action. The pass is the principle of collective game (Carrera, Oscar 2013).
With the pass we can keep the ball, to achieve the main objective of the game scoring a goal. In addition to the pass is achieved secondarily keep fit goal, second objective more important in football.

The pass is the technical action is to send the ball to a teammate by a touch (Carrera, Oscar 2013).

With the pass, we can give it speed up the game, or decrease the speed of this, as it suits us. The pass requires great precision and control with your feet and is why it is one of the most important aspects that must be trained in lower categories.

A great pass reduces fatigue, facilitates progression, prevents injuries, clarifies confusing situations ... (Carrera, Oscar 2013).

There are various types of passes, long pass, short pass and half distance pass. A pass can be satin or by air. It must be said that the ball can be given by various parts of the foot, Each pass with a foot area has a specific name and its own characteristics. Also you can give passes to other parts of the body like the chest, head ..., but these passes would be used as resources and is not recommended a thorough training in lower categories.

There is exist the inside of the foot pass, which is the conventional pass, security and most used the pass. With the instep foot pass, which is normally used for long shipments, shooting ... and finally exist the pass with the toe or toes, the clearance with the heel of the foot, pass the ball with the outside of the foot or pass with the sole pass (Pass depressed), which are used in unusual way, more resources are the players with experience gained over the years.

For training pass control is essential. It is said to control and pass are closely linked, and it is true, since a great pass requires good control and for good control, it is easier if the previous pass is good.

Control can be done with all parts of the body except the hands and arms, but in lower categories ideally work over the inside of the foot and control with his chest, which are the two parts that give more safety and reliability for good control and what is more important later to make a good pass.

Finally it is said that for training in lower categories ideally training through the inside of the foot pass, once obtained this hability the young players can develop other types of passes, but always based on the pass with the inside foot, which as has been said is the main technique in collective action and particularly in football.

The Importance of the Goalkeepers at youth football

The Importance of the Goalkeepers at youth football

The goalkeepers are the big ones forgotten at football, both in trainings and in matches, also in all the categories.

At trainings, normally, there is not a specific trainer for the goalkeepers, for this, it does not exist the habit of giving them importance that really they have in the development of football.

It is very important not forget the goalkeepers, because they are the only one, the goalkeeper it is indispensable. All the exercise that we do at trainings, must involve the goalkeeper, especially at youth football, because they will get bored and they stop playing football, or what is worse, they will bore the sport.

The Goalkeepers have a value of 70 % for a lot of coaches, but alone 20 % is trained (Rojas, Miguel 2014).

It is necessary to combine exercises of one against one, counterattacks, air balls, and corners, shots on target, of long and short distance. We must work the anticipation of the goalkeepers, and their reflections, finally we must work the coordination with the defense, the goalkeepers must take part constant in the training, or they will be cold, and when we need them they will not be employed at ideal conditions.

The Goalkeepers training must be planned in order that the goalkeeper helps to the maximum his team, since if one does not work in a specific and individual way; it is difficult to develop his powers.

THE IMPORTANCE OF YOUTH FOOTBALL

The great importance of youth football

As a first entrance to our blog we would like to comment that: "The training of attacking football", written by Javier Lavandeira collaboration with Juan Carlos Valeron.

The whole book we highlight a small section of the introduction entitled "What do we mean by training? / Relationship competition", which I think pretty much sums up the importance of grassroots football, as what matters is the formation rather results.

"Working on the base so many years has led me to ask some ideas that started training, for example, word formation, especially when some colleagues used it as a synonym of defeats, we lose because we are focused on training.

To my training is not incompatible with the results, provided they do not invest priorities, ie training must be related to improvement of football at all levels. If you get that the player is able to improve individual level, will enable the improvement of the group of players who act with him and ultimately improve overall therefore they will reach positive results without these are our primary purpose "

By this we focus one of the first items to be discussed, which is the importance of growth as a player before the result. It is very lawful find the team get great results, I get thrashings, but that can not be above the growth of children. What has to import is getting the growth characteristics of football (as a defense, doorman, or looking for the features that best suit their way of being / play), not forgetting the results.

"The essence of the player base is that you gain a solid foundation on which to establish the process of football-personal maturity, which must be related to improvements that allow gradually and burning stages, become a footballer competitive at all levels: decisional, psychological, physical, etc ... "

Training needs to be focused on achieving improved player and not only in the físico.Tiene looking to grow in all areas, be able to interpret the parties, seeking the best solutions, improving the physical, vital aspect in many cases, and being those of "unite" with the tactical side.

Think for yourself, learning from their mistakes and being able to improve to become a better player, knowing what is best for the individual aspect, but seeking balance with the rest of the group.

"But the competition also has its own sense, competing to experience what they learn, evolve through competition and gradually adapted to real situations proposed football.

It also competes to evaluate and draw conclusions about our work. "

We can not forget, nevertheless, that indeed the competition is present in everyone's mind. But as I said sometimes we can not pose as paramount. The competition has to be addressed as how to see if children have grasped what is taught, and as a way to teach other aspects that help in growth. The result of the competition, ultimately, has to be the least important. If they fail and do not win the tournament, we have to say is that nothing happens, discuss with them their faults, and use them to avoid being committed again. They understand that competition is necessary, but that is not the main thing.

"Finally say that at the base, each child has their own pace of learning acquisition, we respect them, adapt and give different answers as required marking heterogeneity."

We believe very important to see and do reflection on this book and its contents, because if something is done wrong in these categories, is the wrong approach gives your preparation and therefore development.
